Bio/Description
Biography:
I received my PhD from the University of Washington. I am interested in how nervous systems represent and manipulate the complex information structures that make up ongoing sensory, motor, and cognitive experience, and in the biophysical processes they exploit to do so. To investigate mechanisms that generalize across systems and contexts I work at the intersection of theory and data analysis, employing techniques from statistical physics, network science, and distributed computation.
