I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2016 from the University College Cork (UCC) in Ireland.  I have a background in designing cameras and optical sensors on the macro-scale, I am now focusing on the micro-scale in my postdoc. Here, I am developing next generation optical microscopes tailored for biological imaging, while also applicable to physical chemistry and material studies.
