Bio/Description

I received my PhD in Physics from “La Sapienza” University of Rome. During my PhD, I have worked on the collective behavior of animal groups, such as Flocks of starlings and swarms of insects. Using Renormalization group techniques, we were able to make quantitative parameter-free predictions that are confirmed by the experimental evidence.
