Bio/Description
My interests lie broadly in understanding, from a theoretical point of view, how uncertainty constrains and regulates function in living systems. At the individual level, I employ techniques from stochastic calculus to characterize local interactions mediated by organismal movement. At the collective level, I am interested in the statistical physics underlying the organization of degrees of freedom in complex systems. In my free time I enjoy playing games, reading philosophy and hiking.
