Bio/Description
I’m a 6th year graduate student in the Physics Department, working under the guidance of “Uncle Bob” (Prof. Robert H. Austin). I am fascinated in exploring how complex, dynamic and self-modified environment can yield surprising emergent behavior, including both biological systems and synthetic systems that model biological systems. My current research focuses on probing how genes & memes in an analog robotic world influence biophysical behavior, and how bacterial collective intelligence explores & escapes environments with tricky topologies.
