Bio/Description
I received my PhD in Chemistry in 2014 from the National University of Singapore. I am interested in how the availability of specific DNA binding proteins (known as transcription factors TF) affects fly embryo body segment and development. By using optogenetics and quantitative- imaging tools, we aim to manipulate the levels of TFs both spatially and temporally. The project aims to shed light on the dynamic cell reprogramming and its consequence on fly development.
