PhD in Physics 2021, Harvard University
I received my PhD in physics from Harvard University in 2021. I am interested in how instabilities can lead to surprising and complex behavior in soft matter and biological systems. As a PhD student, I studied this theme in two contexts: ecological competition in a turbulent ocean, and patterns of localized swelling and shrinking in thin elastic sheets. At Princeton, I am interested in investigating the role of mechanical instabilities in morphogenesis.
